Notes:

1. A huge warning about this fic: there is so much narration here and very little dialogue but please, stay with me, kk?
2. Warning #2: this is filled with clichés hahaha.
3. A clear up on Zidane: he was voted as president in June 2028 in this verse and appointed Raul Gonzalez as his Director of Football in the same year. (I wasn’t planning on writing a fic regarding their election and appointment)
4. For a continuity clear up from “The Godfather”, it is assumed that Leo does not know any Castilla boys as Atletico B (where he played 2 seasons before his transfer to Madrid) plays in Segunda Division B while Castilla plays in Segunda Division. Real Madrid C plays in the Segunda Division B. It assumed that both teams were promoted at the end of the 2012 season (let’s all pray they do for real, ok? ^_^).
5. Edit: At the end of the game on 2012.05.27, Real Madrid Castilla just got promoted to the Segunda Division. HALA MADRID!!!

Summary: Real Madrid buys Leo Torres from Atletico Madrid. While he is not exactly a Real Madrid legacy, his godfather is essential in sealing the deal.

Notes:

1. I have no idea about Atletico’s cantera so I am generally basing this with what little I know about Real Madrid’s cantera.
2. I do not know who Leo’s real godfather is.
3. I don’t hate Atletico. How could I when Nando is from Atletico?
4. I find it weird to refer to Real Madrid as “Real” instead of “Madrid” but I had to so that it won’t be too confusing.
5. Alejandro Curras’ name was taken from 2 wee wittle random Real Madrid canteranos (both from Benjamin B). If anyone is bearing the same name, I apologize. It is purely coincidental.
6. According to my calculations, Leo should be 18, turning 19 in this fic.
